Spider Lake Springs Resort 2650 Turnbull Road, Qualicum Beach
Start date approx. June 29, 2026. This is a full time 8 week position at $18.75 per hour
This position is supported by Canadian Youth Employment Program. Eligible candidates must be between the age of 15 and 30.
Requirements
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Be able to work with minimal supervision
- Be flexible in daily job duties
- Be willing to work in all weather conditions
- Be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and campers
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Self motivated and communicate effectively with team and manager
Key Duties
- clean resort washrooms and laundromat
- mow, weed eat lawns and additional ground keeping
- support resort maintenance to include watering plants, raking grounds and ponds, garbage pick up, painting throughout the resort
- assist with repair and maintenance of resort equipment and structures, wood and gravel delivery
- operate manual, power tools and equipment
- self motivated and communicate effectively with team and manager
- attend to flower gardens throughout resort
- assist with water slide when it opens
- cleaning ponds
- Assist with setting up for events ex: longhouse, multipurpose room etc.
- Picking up debris in morning rounds
- first aid is beneficial
Additional support may be required throughout Spider Lake Springs Resort where maintenance and needs are required.
