Last summer we formed a fundraising committee and were successful in raising enough money to purchase a wonderful new playground set which has been installed near the store for our younger children. I would like to once again extend a huge thank you to all those involved last year.
This list includes many people such as those who:
- helped form the committee to brainstorm and plan various events
- sold Purdy’s Chocolate bars (both privately and at the store)
- helped run the very popular paint nights
- made and sold pancakes
- donated time, money, baked goods, hot dogs and gently used treasures for our silent auction
- picked up, delivered and assembled the purchased playground equipment.
I am now asking for volunteers to help with this year’s fundraising which will be geared towards equipment for older children (aged 10 and up). If you are able to help by joining the committee (we meet via zoom once a month starting very soon) then please reach out to me. I would really appreciate the assistance.
